Theory: Possibly the design pattern for the Mega Digivolutions in Beatbreak.
So far i had begun to realize that Gekkomon and Chiropmon Digivolutions follow a pattern: their Champion/Adult forms are Digivolutions that take the design in a different direction while still maintaining the Digimon theme, while their Ultimate/Perfect forms are great homages to the designs choices of their Rookie forms.
But it hasn't yet been discussed how Murasamemon also follows the same pattern: its Rookie form is Liollmon, a lion cub, but its Adult evolution transforms it into a different animal, a Komainu (Lion-Dog guardian with a spiral pattern), losing its claws and featuring a much whiter and more pastel color palette. Notice how Murasamemon's design is much closer to Liollmon's design than to Courgamon's.
If Murasamemon follows the same logic, then considering its leaked Mega form, I believe that the Mega forms are a fusion of the Champion and Ultimate designs into one.
The reason I believe in this theory is that Murasamemon Mega Digivolution reclaims the design choices made in Courgamon but still retains several of Murasamemon's design choices, appearing as a fusion of themes; if you notice, even Courgamon's spiral patterns are present in its Mega form.
