Lazy writing that turns out good for your story?
Has anyone ever wrote something lazily and got a eureka moment out of it by accident? For me i did, which is being too lazy to write family tree with lots of siblings and bloodlines. Instead i opted for each family having only one child, with the exception of the Royal Family. This turns out to be a major plot point further into the story. But as a reader reading it, most won’t probably realise it until that moment as a lot of tropes about family and siblings are written that gradually revealed or as a shock factor. Mine the shock factor is the term “siblings” was never a possibility at all in the story except for certain special cases. Any of you share similar stories? Let me know your thoughts
