Nanoose Bay development?

When I looked at the Fairwinds Master Plan I was shocked. It pretty much showed they plan to pave over 80% of the Enos Lake trail network with roads and houses. An area quite unique and pristine that is habitat for species at risk... Lots of wetlands, garry oak, arbutus, and old growth interwoven with an extensive trail network. Great for bird watching, hiking, biking and horse back.

Kind of figured most people living in Nanoose and Fairwinds would want to preserve this area ... without it all you have is Notch Hill and Moorecroft that are a fraction of the size.

I have noticed not much has happened as far as the development goes and was curious if their plans have been scaled back?
