I often played with Funerella (in the demo) for more necromancy, and now in EA I've seen the necropolis almost always ranked as the worst. What's changed?

Has anyone played the campaign and sided witch necromancers?. I'm on a mission to deal with a vampire, and there is a vampire with a question mark on the map. If you approach them, you have a chance to listen them talking, and if you just choose to "continue listening", it recycles a couple of different dialogs over and over. Is it a somekind of test of players patience or a bug?
