Is Roblox's dekstop client really that bad?

For some time now my computer struggles with Roblox client whenever it's in idle as in i'm not in any game. If i just leave it open for approx. 5 minutes my GPU usage skyrockets to 70%, my fans start going crazy and the launcher becomes very laggy and unresponsive. I've done as much as i could to reduce the usage and yet it still kills my performance.

inb4 "upgrade your PC", i can run most modern games in 1440p on stable 60 just fine, it's just Roblox that is frying my rig LOL

what gives?

Title.

Asking out of curiosity, do you take into account the weapon model while looking for new playskins? It's something that i've been doing ever since CS2 dropped, i just don't like how much bulkier the new models are in some cases lol.

I'm attaching some comparisons i made on the fly, green outlines are the old models, the red outlines are the new.
