I'm a hobbyist game dev who uses unity3d. I usually make relatively low-poly games, but having the room for anything more is always nice. I'm currently eyeing the RX 9070 non-XT because I actually game more than I do game dev, I just develop when I'm in the mood. (For the gaming side of things, I'm totally cool with not having DLSS features)
My choice is between that or the RTX 5070. Does anyone here have any good experience using this specific card (or the XT version, I don't think there will be that big of a difference in this case but correct me if I'm wrong about that) in Unity3d? Any features you've been locked out of in it or even in Blender? (And I don't mean an Nvidia-specific thing that speeds up a process, I mean like an actual feature that you can get locked out of completely)
Important note: I'm coming from a 2060 mobile. My bar is really low when it comes to game Dev performance. I don't think I'll miss the few seconds that an Nvidia card would save me compared to the 9070. Just wanted to know if there's any actual game dev features/tools I'd be giving up.
