TL;DR: I need help coming up with a thesis topic about something related to UI, UX, web development and design, accessibility or video games. (pls help)

Hi! I'm studying Information Architecture and the time has come - I urgently have to come up with a topic for my bachelor's dissertation (I study in Poland but I think thats how you say it?)

My thesis advisor has shot down every single idea that I had and suggested a topic that would genuinely make me pull my hair out from boredom. I want to write about something that I'm interested in because otherwise I simply won't be able to do it - I'm autistic so it's very important to me.

Sooo I thought that maybe you, proffesionals, would be able to suggest something?

I'm really interested in UI, UX, web development and design, accessibility and most importantly - video games.

My degree unfortunately doesn't allow projects so it has to be in a form of text and there should be some form of research.

My last suggested topic was "Porównanie dostępności stron internetowych platform dystrybucji gier komputerowych (Steam vs Epic Games Store) w kontekście wytycznych WCAG 2.1 AA." Which loosly translates to: "A comparative study of the accessibility of video game distribution platform websites (Steam vs. Epic Games Store) in the context of WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines"

My thesis advisor said that someone else already picked Steam and Epic so I can't write about them. Other than that, it was the only proposed topic that he liked(?). He proposed that I should write about online libraries/repositories but I'd genuinely rather compare anything else.

I hope a post like this is allowed. I'm obviously not asking you to write my dissertation :-P I'm just looking for inspirations wherever I can, unfortunately so far my brain is empty

Thanks!
