Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to inform you that I am officialy ready to retire from Battlefield
And it only took me 250 hours and a lot, and I mean a lot of sniping

I remember thinking that Season 2 Part 3 will be lackluster on content and that it would be a boring month, yet the Operation Augur single handedly managed to pull me in for tens of hours. What a blast, managed to get one final match before the Season 3 starts and what a match it was. Since the launch of the operation, I think about 80% of my playtime was just this mode. I seriously hope they are going to bring back operations in the future, covering more maps. I can easily see how Siege of Cairo and Cairo Bazaar could be turned into one of these, and similarly for Mirak Valley and Liberation Peak.
What are thoughts of this sub on the Operation Augur and operations in general? Do we like it and are there any indications they might bring it back in future?
EDIT: A lot of people here are mentioning their inability to win as an attacker. I predominantly played attack (I quit nearly every time I had to defend) and my win/loss ratio is 15/7 (and I'd say at least 15-17 games were as an attacker). I don't think it is hard to win this operation, I'd say that nearly half of the wins were with max 2 battalions. It is all about the first sector - if attacking team is quick enough to take it without getting discouraged, the rest is very smooth. And this can be done easily by either storming through the left side using smokes, or through the right, crossing the hill and using vehicles as a portable spawns. My experience is that if the first sector is captured within 3-5 mins from the start, the rest is usually very quick. Once the attackers get discouraged and start sniping, that is where the attack fails completely.
