Hello, I'm an aspiring architect!

I'm about to enter my freshman year, and I'm looking for a mechanical pencil that's best suited for this course. I LOVE MECHANICAL PENCILS ! I already have a few mech pencils in mind, but they're very limited. Which are the Pentel Graphgear 1000, 500, and the gear 1000 for pro. I really don't know which of those to choose from, and since this is my first time buying a sort of "professional" mech pen, i don't really have a basis or preference yet. I've thought of getting the GG1000 (it's the pen I've always thought about since i was a child) but I don't know if I'll like the heaviness of it. So, long story short, I'm torn, inexperienced, and confused. I'd gladly appreciate it if you guys give me your experiences and opinions regarding these pens and maybe others that you think are good and similar to what i said. Even more so if you're also in the field of architecture! Thank you very much for your kind help!
