I was browsing the store and im guessing this is a UI glitch that seems to have revealed something pretty interesting. If thats what we were supposed to get originally, boy am i glad they changed it lol.
TLDR: Is there a list of games that have extra patches/goodies included with the or are only available as a Platinum Hits release?
Near-lifelong Xbox gamer but only started actually collecting in earnest a few years ago and have tended to avoid Platinum Hits (PH) versions of titles like the plague due to just personally not liking the lack of uniformity (especially on the spines) on my media shelf and generally preferring the vanilla box art. Recently however, i learned that the PH edition of certain titles may be or are worth picking up due to them including extra goodies like patches or DLC and in some cases because there is no vanilla release with the PH being the only edition of the game that actually exists. I learned about this after reading that this is the case for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on the 360 which i had been ignorantly overlooking a copy of at my local gamestop for at least a few months.
Went to snag it when i found out there was no alternative and luckily it was still there, but it left me looking for a list of Xbox releases that have extra patches/goodies included with the or are similarly only available as a Platinum Hits release so i could avoid potentially missing out in the future and im coming up empty handed; Anyone know of a resource like this or can maybe share some titles they know of that qualify to at least compile some of that info here?
