These mock drafts are bad…
One thing i’ve noticed is that when we got collins i thought we were gonna be better than when we traded Powell because i thought it was necessary to have that forward presence over shooting but i was wrong we needed BOTH. If we secure collins who seems like he wants to stay then don’t trade up or trade down, which brings me to the draft HOLY SHIT are these bad, and it shows that these people have not watched us all season i’ve seen people tell us to pick up acuff, brayden burries, or get flemmings, and straight up dismiss garland? These are some of the worst analysts i’ve ever seen holy😭. As well as the ideas to reach for nate ament, AND REACH WIDE OPEN Aday Mara, The solution if we keeps collins is RIGHT THERE WITH WAGLER, a physical confident guard who can be ready to start who compliments the playing styles with the projected starting line up, I like mathurin and think we should keep him but he shouldn’t be starting as a two way guard and still has a lot to learn as he’s stated. I think Wagler would be a great position of need to be that powell replacement we’d thought we’d get last season. If we do trade up i’d swap picks to get Henry Veesaar from north carolina to pair up with Isaiah jackson and Yanic where we don’t have to sacrifice a lot of to get. That’s what i would wanna see instead of replacing garland or trading up to the top 4 when we don’t need to until the free agency period starts. that’s when i’d start to worry but for now don’t worry keep your eyes on Wagler and i’m hoping to get Veesaar as well.
