Smoke coming out of engine bay - 2016 3.5L turbo 80k miles.
Took the truck to the dealership, they changed the timing cover, the water pump, and the vacuum pump.
Whenever I finish a drive where I went over 50-60mph for a few minutes there is a decent amount of white smoke coming out of the rear passenger side engine area. Dealership assures me it is just burning excess oil and it should clear up. I have driven around 150 highway miles since they did the work and at best the amount of smoke is still the same, if not worse by some margin. While driving on the highway yesterday the smoke was billowing out enough that I noticed it out of my peripheral vision from the rear view mirror.
I have been jumping out after driving to and from work and video taping the smoke, and this morning was definitely the worst its been (maybe the temperature or other factors are impacting visibility and making it seem more obvious but not neccesarily more profuse).
Has anyone every dealt with this and it taking forever to excess oil to burn off or do you suspect there is a leak?
