Transferring money from India

I'm yet to fly in. I will be joining the Sem 2 intake of University of Sydney for my masters.

I have a confusion going on with making a payment (advance +bond) to my accommodation provider. They shared with me their BSB code, SWIFT code, Beneficiary name and address and also Bank name and address.

BSB - 032-055

SWIFT - WPACAU2S (Westpac bank)

Let's assume the bank account number is 123456 (six digits)

I have been trying to make the payment from my SBI account. The portal shows two options - 1) Swift and acc.no 2) BSB and Acc.no.

I read online that usually all three are asked for - BSB, SWIFT and Acc.no. And if only Swift is asked for, then while typing the acc.no it should be followed by BSB, creating a 12 digit number ( here, acc.no should be 032055 123456).

This is not stated in the SBI portal nor I understand how they will track the bank with only BSB no like in the option 2. I tried option two entering BSB and 6digit acc.no in respective fields. The name of the bank picked up was the branch name of the bank. I assume that must mean the right bank and branch must be detected because the bank address too matched.

I just want to clarify how to proceed with this so that I don't lose any more money due to the failure of the transaction (I lost 15K INR). Kindly let me know if you know any other reliable way to transfer money. Thank you.
