DYPIU B.Tech CSE vs CSE (AI & ML), Which is better?

I’m considering admission at DYPIU and I’m confused between:

- B.Tech CSE

- B.Tech CSE (AI & ML)

I want to know from seniors/current students:

- Which branch has better placements?

- Are companies allowed for both during placements?

- Is CSE more flexible than CSE (AI & ML)?

- Does the degree certificate mention only “CSE” or specifically “CSE AI & ML”?

- Is the AI & ML syllabus actually useful or mostly hype?

- Which would you personally choose in 2026?

My main focus is good placements/software jobs, but I’m also interested in AI.

Would appreciate honest opinions from DYPIU seniors/students 🙏
