Where to go for the best priced used video game/ anime merchandise?
TL;DR: Best stores for used handheld/ consoles in the Tokyo area while avoiding touristy locations.
I've been doing extensive research on second hand shopping, and wanted to ask about the best places that I can go around the Tokyo area. I'm willing to travel 2 hours or less. I'm looking for old video game consoles, specifically PSP's and DS's, along with older anime merchandise.
I'm opting to avoid buying things at high tourist locations such as Akihabara and Ikebukuro, and instead looking to travel for cheaper prices unless it's not worth the transportation.
I've had the Hachioji Eco Town and Bookoff Super Bazaar Tama stores on my radar, but I've heard the Hachioji location doesn't have much when it comes to used handheld/ console selections.
If anyone has any pointers to specific locations I should visit, or specific store brands over the other (ie Surugaya over Bookoff), please let me know. Thank you!
