Training plan critiques
Hello, I am 4 months out from Ironman Gurye. I using the same plan I’ve used for tri’s in the past and was looking for some critiques.
I also have 3 gym sessions (pull, push, legs)
M-swim endurance(2500-4000m) recovery run, pull day.
T- 35-40mile easy/medium bike(2-3hours), interval run
W-push day, focus day(I use this for a discipline that feels needs extra focus and a light recovery day)
Th-long run(11-18 miles)
F-technique swim, bike intervals.
S-rest
Su- long bike(65-100miles)
I then work in a leg day when ever I have time.
Longest tri I’ve done is Olympic and I’m nervous about the iron distance.
