I put it accidentally on a pile of clothes and I guess I got distracted and I dropped it in the machine. It was there for maybe 5-8 minutes or less but definitely not more than 10. I’m using it right now and it is behaving fine. As I picked it up from the machine it turned on as normal as it hadn’t been dropped at all. Speakers are fine, cameras, mic, buttons, they’re alright.
I’m just scared that the detergent and/or water may cause the phone to fail or malfunction in the following days.
I asked ChatGPT and he told me to make sure the port is dry before charging. It looks pretty dry so I’m charging it and it’s doing fine.
The phone in general is responding as it should but my fear is well if it malfunctions in the near future since it’s new.
Any recommendations or help is appreciated
Edit: I got a water detected warning some 10 minutes or so after plugging it in. I left it overnight standing somewhat upright on a room with ac so the moisture could dry out
Charging it right now and it hasn’t said anything for now
