I've been thinking this over and unique items losing their static stats feels like a huge step back. What is really the difference between a unique and legendary at this point? Maybe I am missing something interesting about uniques.

We can't even roll stats on uniques making them less customizable than legendaries at this point. It makes uniques feel terrible to farm imo. Is there any benefit anyone is seeing to randomly rolled uniques?
