My girlfriend and I are currently staying at a hotel in Lara Beach, Antalya, and we’re planning to visit the city center (Kaleiçi, bazaar, and marina) one of these days.
We’d really appreciate some local advice:
What’s the cheapest, safest, and fastest way to get from Lara Beach to the city center in the morning?
And what’s the best option to get back in the evening?
Are taxis reliable, or should we stick to public transport (bus/tram/apps like BiTaksi)?
Roughly how much should we expect to pay?
Also, we’ve heard there can be some tourist scams, so:
What scams should we watch out for?
Anything specific we should be careful about (taxis, prices, etc.)?
Our main goal is to explore the bazaar, walk around the old town, and visit the marina.
