Sitara IPO balloting successful what happens next?

I received an email from CDC saying the Sitara IPO balloting was successful and the number of securities I applied for were allotted successfully.

I applied through a CDC sub account using Finqalab. Just wanted to ask what happens now?

- Do I just wait?

- Will the shares automatically appear in my portfolio/account?

- Or do I need to contact my broker (Finqalab) for anything?

Also, when is Sitara expected to be listed on PSX for trading?

First time getting an IPO allotment so a bit confused about the next steps.

Can someone explain Al Meezan mutual fund charges in simple terms?

I’m using Al Meezan Investments and I’m a bit confused about how their charges work.

For example, if I invest Rs. 10,000 in Meezan Balance Fund, whem i go to my bank app to pay it asks me to pay around Rs. 10,080 instead of exactly 10k. In previous transactions too, it usually costs Rs. 30–100 extra.

On their website I saw:

Management Fee: Up to 3%

Actual Management Fee: 2.38%

Front End Load: 2%

Back End Load: Nil

Can someone explain in simple terms:

What exactly is the extra Rs. 80?

Is it because of Front End Load or some other fee?

How are these charges calculated?

Is the management fee deducted separately or daily from NAV?

Are there any hidden charges/taxes I should know about?

Guidance needed. explain with example if possible.

What’s a “success” people chase here that isn’t actually worth it?

Feels like everyone’s chasing status, titles, and validation more than actual happiness or peace. Curious what people here think. what “success” isn’t really worth it in the long run?

Hey everyone,

I recently got charged a monthly fee by Finqalab, and I’m honestly confused about how it’s calculated. I had the impression that some of these charges are annual, but I’m seeing deductions happening monthly instead. Like it was 719 and then 469.

What does this mean? (REVERSAL READY EXPOSURE MARGIN DT)

Here’s what I’m trying to understand:

1. Finqalab Monthly Fee

  • What exactly is this fee based on?
  • Is it a flat subscription, or does it depend on portfolio size/activity?
  • If it’s supposed to be annual, why am I seeing it deducted monthly?

2. CDC Transactions / UIN Charges

  • I’m seeing entries labeled like “CDC TRANSACTIONS” and “UIN charges.”
  • What triggers these? Buying/selling only, or just holding shares too?
  • Is there a fixed rate per transaction, or does it vary?

3. Hidden / Less Obvious Charges

  • Are there any additional fees (custody, inactivity, etc.) that people usually miss?
  • Any way to minimize these charges?

Would really appreciate if someone could break this down in simple terms or share their experience.

Thanks!
