And uhhh I have a serious question for all of you...

How do we feel about the pilot being released as an animatic?

Honestly I’m seriously considering doing so. It‘d be out way sooner for you guys. And as a first-time project, an animatic just seems more feasible. I could probably use it as a proof-of-concept to fund the other episodes and get it 3D-animated then. But Ion know—I might mess around and make the entire series an animatic. I dunno what I wanna do ;w;

Either way it goes, we’re gonna make it awesome for you guys and hopefully it’ll be worth the hype :’3

And guys? Petal hair hard. Oki? It was not easy. To figure out these angles. But I did. So you don’t have to.
The result is satisfying tho.

Lately I’ve been thinking, due to themes of explicit drug use/abuse, this series may get an MA rating, but I honestly think that’s too harsh. So I’m curious what you all think, based on the premise, which rating would be appropriate.

I was thinking at least 16+, but ion know :P Just wanna hear you guys’ thoughts tbh.

This was good face practice too, real fun to draw. Maybe I’ll do more stuff like this, explore some more expressions. Idk :P

Finally. Now I know what a dragonfly would look like. Dis was fun.
The reason why he has hair is cuz with the ref I was using, I noticed a bit of fuzz on the head, so I went with it. I think he looks better that way :P

Ima have to find a way to give this guy a cameo somewhere...

I honestly couldn’t see it working any other way than some kind of fish-tail braid, or something of the like. But I’m glad with how it turned out. It was a fun challenge.

My main goal was to capture my vision of the finished product, which I’ve never really been able to do. But as I’m learning better art techniques I feel like I’ll be able to make better concept art now, so I’m excited to make more :’D
