I'm in the process of making a "micarta" handle for my no12 which is used as a camp chef knife. I'm replacing the handle for fun and to make it less sensitive for water.

I've created two quick prototypes to see which store I like the best, but still can't decide.

Which style should I go for, Photo 1 or 2? The third pic is the material I'm planning to use.
