I was gifted an inflatable paddleboard and am itching to get out on the water. Obviously, there is plenty of water around, but I am wondering what the best spots and launches are for an absolute beginner.

I'm guessing that calm waters and low boat traffic are probably some things I should factor in since I am brand new to PB. I expect to fall a lot, so I want to be safe and try to set myself as best I can for success.

I'd appreciate any recommendations or advice from experienced local paddleboarders.
