George Wallace in TTNW in the Sam Yorty victory route deserves some credit.

He beat his boss in the primaries, had a stable coalition and then won a 3 way race (unless I read it wrong and it was Yorty vs Wallace, but I doubt it) with Yorty siphoning off his votes.

What are some mods that made you feel "That was it?"

It was An Old Cycle for me. I found it to be too easy (First time playing I got a 380+ landslide), it's kind of too dramatic and there's only one, non-playable opponent. Kind of barren.

Criticising TTNW for bloated writing is valid, however, I believe that there is one area where the writing is at its top.

Imo, it'son Rogers Morton's side, where you play as Republican candidates. Their lines feel quite authentic and they're genuinely fun to read through. I especially like the way Reagan and Nixon are written, but others are great too. I'm also a big fan of the concession speeches and the way they're written.
