My daughter and I currently live in NC and I need to make a move within a two month window. I am self employed and work remote. The environment, the small town we live in now is infested with drugs and crime. We want a new start and we both a want chance for her sober journey to be as smooth as possible without the old friends, familiar drug spots etc. I will continue to rent a home, so rental costs in the area of choice is important as well. I am also single. In my 50's and since this all began I have not had a social life. I would like to move to a place where once we are settled and all things going good, I'd have options of places to go or things to do. I do prefer a laid back vibe. Life has been hell for many years. I see some light at the end of this tunnel ... where would you go if you were me? (My daughter is currently in sober living)
