I'm putting together a family camping weekend and I am trying to decide between Russell Pond campground off of Tripoli Rd, and Lost River Valley Campground, would like some privacy feeling like others are not on top of us but also would like nice enough sites, we would be renting about 4 sites. For the money Lost River does not seem worth it but to me the sites themselves seem nicer? Russell seems more private but maybe not as nice sites? Considering sites A06-A09 at Russell Pond and sites 114-117 at Lost River. Also a concern of mine for lost river is at those sites would we hear the road or are we far enough? are the bathrooms at russell pond fixed?? Thank you all so much!

We will be visiting the first week of June and am I curious what type of biting bugs will be out? Where we live at the time we will be getting decimated by black flies, wondering what to look out for, if we should get a bug net for our baby carrier or if there really arent any out at that time. Thanks!

I know walking around bear lake only adds about a half mile but trying to maximize time and mileage due to a little one. If we see Nymph, Dream, Haiyaha is Bear that important? Would you sacrifice one of those for Mills Lake? Or do you think a Straight out and back to Sky pond and Lake of Glass is more impressive? Just curious what routes you all would choose if you could only do some
