Fuel system issues since shortage
Anyone else experiencing fuel issues since the fuel crisis?. I have a fuel delivery issue, its probably a coincidental pump failure but its hard not to notice that I filled from a pump just as they were running out everywhere, there was even a notice that pressure may be poor due to low tanks. Since then my car starts and stalls immediately but intermittently, it didnt happen for the first few days but it has been problematic since, and has now completely failed to maintain idle.
My symptoms are fairly aligned with low pressure pump failure so I know im clutching at straws, but my fuel filter was changed just over a month ago so I can't help but think it may be blocked by the usual bottom of the tank sediment that occurs in stations. I dont know much about fuel systems but id immagine an airlock is somewhat possible too. Id be very interested to know if anyone's had a similar issue lately. Thanks
