The game is completely broken. There's no way to fix it. You can apply the multi-thread fix and 4gb patch but thats like butting a bandaid over a gushing wound. It doesnt fix the crashes, which WILL happen no matter what you do. The game will crash at the end of every championship and there's nothing you can do about it. If you want to play this game, you need the patience of a saint
Before I say anything else, yes I applied the 4GB and MTF patches, yes I'm using the grid xtra mod. Does anyone else get micro stutters on this game? I thought turning off crowds or cloth physics helped but no. After looking further it does literally nothing. I dont get it. Is this game just permanently broken or something?
Alright so I figured it out. Turns out it was Radeon Chill. It significantly increases frame time which makes the game stutter. The trade off is that I cant use flashbacks anymore because they'll only be like half a second long. So I guess if I mess up I just have to restart the race ig.
