Hi, my husband and I are considering moving to ooty. We are both in our early 30s, no kids. What is the social life like here?

We are already used to a slow pace of life. Not looking for a ton of activities. But we would like to make a few friends in a similar age group. Some of our interests are board games, barbecues and hikes. How do we meet new people in ooty?
