I went to a pop culture/anime convention, and I got to play Crisis Zone. It is so surreal seeing a fully functional Crisis Zone arcade cabinet, because I haven't seen this game in real life very often. This was actually the second time I saw and played this game. The first time I played this game, if memory serves, was in a shopping center in Vietnam in late July 2016 or something. Last time I visited that mall, the game wasn't there anymore 😞.

This game is rare and obscure😅.

The recoil for the gun is so insane with a satisfying sound.

The graphics are so colorful and lively. After playing the arcade version, it makes me regret playing the PS2 version, because the ragdoll animations are so satsifying to look at on the System 23 Evolution 2.

Time Crisis 2 on the PS2 didn't look that much different from the arcade, and yet this one looks so...dull and dark on the PS2. I wish Namco hadn't changed the graphics and colors so drastically.

Have you ever played Crisis Zone? If you do, what was it like playing the game? What are your memories of it?

I really enjoy this game, and the gunplay is so satisfying. A much shorter and faster game, compared to the mainline Time Crisis games.

It's a shame that it doesn't have a direct sequel (if we are not including Razing Storm), because the mechanics of this game are so interesting.

I hope that the Arcade System 23 for this game can be emulated and become fully playable, because the Arcade version looks and feels WAY BETTER than the PS2 version.
