This is a curiosity for official events that I'm struggling to find a proper answer to.

So I'm not a huge fan of the Victrix Guard models and much prefer the Bladeguard ones instead.

Now I would ASSUME there's absolutely nothing from stopping me from taking the shield off the Bladeguard and giving them a bolt pistol for WYSIWYG and going, "This is my Victrix Guard".

But how far could I take that?

Like let's say I had a pack of standard Intercessors and gave them power swords. Put them on the correct base and would I be allowed to play these as Victrix Guard as well?

Heck, maybe just put assault intercessors and their chainswords on the correct bases. Would that work as well?
