Safety week. Mandatory safety meeting at the shop, 1 hour before work starts. Get to first station. Wait an hour and change. Cancelled. Call PM. Sends me to work with another crew. They haven't started yet. Perfect. Do our briefing, unload tools & material. Wait for 30 mins. Cancelled. FUCK! Call PM again. Go wait in your vehicle, I've got work at another station up the road. Hang tight, they might get cancelled. Lol. The definition of hurry up & wait. Gotta love union work!
