So hard to match the hair color with the tail

I was rereading the ending for the manga when I realize Fukuda’s speech is in quotation marks, the speech was

"If it's impossible to have what I truly want, then at least let them remember all the happy memories we shared to the end...”

So, what is she referring? Is this a saying that was referred in the previous chapters, or is it an actual quote?

I’ve just finished the manga, and I am pretty happy and touched by the ending. It is beautiful that no matter what happens, Nakano and Senko always find each other.

But what about my girl Fukuda? I understand that she is willing to marry Nakano in order to remove the curse while also allow him to be pampered by Senko. For Nakano, he is alright with Fukuda acting as his “true wife”.

That’s the thing, Nakano only feels alright about Fukuda. He is, of course, indifferent to all the girls in the series, but compare to Kōenji and Yotsuya, the bond between Nakano and Fukuda is really blur. This makes Fukuda’s true wife position, in my view, meaningless.

And I do not like that, I want justice for Fukuda. It may seem like a dream for her to live with Fukuda, but it’s unfair that she gets to be Nakano’s true wife through an eliminating selection. If I could, I would add in more chapters with Nakano and Fukuda bonding other than j just through work or Fukuda’s side. This would back up her true wife position, and would evoke Senko conflicts more.

Anyway, what are your thoughts on Fukuda’s role to Nakano?
