What form solutions you are using on your/client sites? Free or Paid? I made a noob mistake with my website!

Hello, just a quick intro, I'm not an expert WP dev and used "Contact Form 7" on my own WP website. My friend, a developer added from address "wordpress@domaindotcom" in it and I ended up getting tens of emails from DMARC that my domain is spamming and mails are quaranteened.

Ran DMARC data through ChatGPT and found out that the forms plugin is spoofing my domain and even without form submissions, it's beeing used to send emails from my website.

My question is:

  1. How do I solve it?

  2. What is a good alternative/solution (either paid of free) for the same?
