About scars around/on the eyes
You know how injuries from a knife or something sharp on the lip can form a scar that lifts the upper lip up and leaves the teeth exposed at all times? I am not sure how else to describe it, but I know that some people also have it at birth.
Anyway, I was wondering if this is possible for the eye? Imagine that someone tries to stab you in the face, but only manages to cut you from cheek to brow, going through your eye.
Of course, the eyeball would be damaged, but I was wondering if it's possible for the eyelids to be deformed similarly to the example I gave with the mouth wound. I am guessing that the eyelids would be stitched together like the rest of the wound, but could there be possible problems with the treatment that would leave the eyelids in a deformed state?
Or would the eye's shape be changed at all? Are there any other details about an injury like this? Also would the eyeball have to be taken out?
