Its been a while! Life took over, work got busy. I am working on things behind the scenes that makes my updates incredibly quick and easy through automation, so future requests for content and collections should go much quicker! I also added a survey at the bottom of the post to send me more detailed feedback and suggestions.

(Per new guidelines posted by u/DJ_Waansin I have tried to keep Streaming Services, Networks, and Studios out of the collection video. Note these are still a major part of the Mega Collection and are just not pictured in the video)

Update 3 is here for my mega collection! Thanks to those that have been testing and sending feedback. It's really helping me push this to the next level each release.

I heard you all loud and clear last time. "Looks great, but Kap, its SO SLOW". Yeah, it really was. I've now optimized all images for much quicker load times and all future updates will only release with optimized images. Still trying to figure out a better way to get Gifs to load quicker without the brief bit of grey.

This patch does not include much new content. I fixed some things like the A24 and Studio Ghibli not populating correctly. I added Crunchyroll and a couple other streaming services (still need to work on the images for em). Other than that, this patch was all visuals and speed.

Patch Notes:

• Optimized Collection for Speed. All lists load much, much faster.
  • Thanks Tom on Discord for Testing and Feedback!
• More Hero Images.
  • A user on Discord created a fantastic script for generating hero background images This is not AI and I try to actively avoid choosing AI artwork.
• More "Title Logos"
  • This is a WIP, but Title Logos add a real nice touch. I've started sourcing high res color or white logos for the studios and networks. I found some for general categories and genres, but will be dusting off my photoshop skills soon to make what is missing.

In the works:

• More Directors / Actors
  • I'm crazy excited that the mobile app just received TMDB 'people' integration. I'm so close to getting this collection entirely off of AIO Metadata.
• Anime Collection
  • I'm not an Anime guy myself, but I hear the call for a dedicated row. I'll make it happen!
• Whatever else you suggest. I'm honestly just having fun building and improving.

  • You can do this on the TV or Mobile.
  • TV Users: Navigate to Addon Settings, then "Manage From Phone". From there, you can scan the QR code OR take that IP and put it in a web browser. This allows you to edit your TV app on a laptop or PC (My preferred way to edit)
• Add your choice of debrid service and scraper, and you are done!
  • Note: I use Real Debrid and Torrentio.

Back with the second update to the mega collection! This one took a bit longer than I was expecting. Just as I was ready to push a new update, I caught wind of the native TMDB integration coming.. Now that its live, I've been working on re-doing so much about the previous version and v0.2 is better than ever!

What's new in v0.2?:

1. Easier install: I reduced the AIO Metadata catalogs to under 200, meaning any instance should work. With that said, I suggest using the following: https://aiometadatafortheweak.nhyira.dev/configure/
2. TMDB Integration: With the native TMDB integration, I was able to offload a lot of the MDBLists, meaning less load on the API. v0.2 is free tier friendly!
3. Updated Artwork w/Hero Images: Not sure if they took my suggestion from Discord, but they finally implemented the ability to customize a hero image! This is great for poster layouts, and makes the modern layout a lot better on TV.
4. Expanded Content. I added TV Networks, more Film Collections, and Trakt Synced content for personal suggestions.
5. Film Collection Sorting. I created Genre Hubs for Film Collections to make it easy to find what you want.

Edit: Remember yall, this is a v0.2, meaning I still am not considering this to be final. While everything certainly works when setup properly, there will be a lot more improvements before v1.0 is published. Next update will have optimized images for faster loading, more genres, and some other suggestion yall have given me in the comments.
