Hi! I just set up my first 30-liter (approx. 8 gallons) planted tank. I currently have one Ancistrus (Bristlenose Pleco), and I have 3 questions:

1. The seller gave me "ReeFlowers Goldfish & Koi" food and told me to feed 3 piece of it a day for 6 days and fast for 1 day. Is this diet suitable for an Ancistrus? There is no algae in the tank yet since it’s new.

2. The seller claimed that my pleco is a "special mini breed" and won't grow any larger than this (currently approx. 5 cm / 2 inch) Can you help me if this is possible or will it outgrow the 30L tank?

3. I'm planning to add a Betta and maybe few corydoras in a week. Can they live together?

Any advice for a beginner would be great!
