Hello! I am entering law school in the fall in Chicago, and need a new bag for my commute. I will be taking public transit in every day and don't expect to shuttle back and forth frequently; once I'm on campus, I'm there for the day.
I have narrowed it to the Osprey Nebula 32, Comet 30, Proxima 30, or TNF Recon or Borealis, but am happy to hear other suggestions! Also interested in the Fjallraven Raven 28 (after carrying a Kanken all through college) but worry about size and comfort.
I have a 16" Macbook and will likely carry my lunch every day. I know I will have a lot of dense casebooks and such, but my biggest concern is weighing capacity with practicality. Also, I imagine I will need to carry many layers given the weather of Chicago, and not worry about my laptop and iPad if I get caught in the rain.
I would appreciate any advice or thoughts on my options, thank you all!!
