It always struck me as strange, before watching it i always seen games soundtrack being treated as one of the best video game soundtracks of all time and when i finally watched GoldenEye i thought the opinion on the movie score would be similar because i absolutely loved it so it came to me as a shock when i found out that people consider it one of the worst of this series. Most common complaint i seen is that it is too different but i never heard the same complaints for FYEO which feels closer to fist of the north star than bond, on top of that i didn't find it all that devastating because GoldenEyes soundtrack just fits perfectly to the more techno-thriller vibe that no other movie in this series has.
