Hi everyone,

I am planning out my South Island trip for later this year and am hoping to hike Roys Peak. I'm staying at Hampshire Holiday Park in Wanaka while here and was wondering if the area offers any transportation to the beginning of the track. Had a look at walking there but it takes an hour and 40 minutes which is not ideal if I'm feeling like doing a sunrise hike. I do not have a rental car as I'm under 21 which makes this difficult. The specific date I am planning to do the hike is Wednesday December the 2nd, maybe at sunrise depending on my options or just how I'm feeling on the day.
