Hey guys

I have a buddy who owns a restaurant and I went there today to fix a door.

It used double action swing hjnges and it swings both directions.

The issue is there is no frame where this door was installed.

So it’s literally right on the corner of a wall and it’s all drywall.

I moved the hinges down and for the time being I use sheet metal screws to attach to the corner bead. This was actually giving better holding power than the small anchors.

I tried to used toggle bolts but the issue is there is multiple sheets of drywall and I was unable to get to a point where there was an opening for the toggle to grab.

Ideally the solution is the add some wood there but they don’t want to go that route. Regular wall anchors keep failing. This is a light hollow core door.

Any suggestions would be great
