I started these lemon basil seeds from seed and they seem so measly. They were in little pots for too long and all got flowers but were tiny. I have cut off all of the flowers and planted them in the ground. The stems are somewhat woody. I was growing them as cut flower filler but should I give up on them and try something else or should I start some seeds directly in the ground?
