How many times can you use it until you start building resistance?

I had BV a year ago for monthsss, until I tried clindamycin cream then a week of lactic acid liquid too, then it was cured, idk why I got that but

This time it’s almost definitely down to my current partner

I haaate it so much it’s so strong, I’m just worried about having to use the antibiotic cream again and it losing effectiveness..

Obviously last time I had this I spent months trying to avoid antibiotics and trying to shift it without, I also tried metro gel which didn’t work and just hurt as well

If anyone has any advice for me I would be grateful, as to my first question, and what to do about my partner and how to prevent it happening again 🙏🏼
