I passed DLSU Manila under BS Biology major in Medical Biology. However, I’ve heard that BS Nursing is a more practical pre-med course if I want to pursue surgery or become a doctor.

I’m now considering enrolling at NU MOA and taking BS Nursing instead.

My concern is that I’ve heard mixed opinions about NU MOAs quality in medicine-related programs. Some say it’s not that strong since it's just new, while others say that professors from schools like UP and UST have transferred there.

I’m also thinking about finances, since I’m not sure if we can afford DLSU unless I qualify for scholarships.

So overall, I’m trying to decide:

• Which pre-med course is better (BS Medical Biology vs BS Nursing)?

• Which school offers better preparation for medicine (DLSU Manila vs NU MOA)?

• And how the quality of teaching compares between the two in terms of preparing for med school.

Pls help me I'm really not sure which I should take since I come from a family of engineers so I don't have anyone to advice me on
