Basically just the question in the title.

Since the virtual game cards can be used on both consoles, does starting with new save data delete the save data from my switch lite? I want to keep my existing Animal Crossing island on my switch lite, but start a new one on my Switch 2. The games are connected to/purchased by the same account.
