So my husband called multiple pharmacies for me to see what manufacturer they carry because my prescription is due on the 13th (I get it every 28–30 days). Now my pharmacy is suddenly acting weird and making me wait… because my husband called instead of me? 🙃
A few days ago I also called and asked if they carried other manufacturers, and an employee told me they most likely did. Fast forward to now: my husband finally found a pharmacy that carries Teva, so I called my doctor’s office and asked if they could switch my prescription there because I’ve been having horrible side effects from the manufacturer my current pharmacy uses (Elite).
The receptionist immediately asked, “Did they change it?” and I said, “No, they told me they only carry one manufacturer 🙃.” Then she goes, “Okay, I’ll put it in your notes and see what she says…”
Like… can they actually refuse to switch pharmacies over this? Why is everyone being a bitch ??? 😅 I’ve only been treating my ADHD for like 3 months and I’m about to quit completely I’ve been unmedicated the last 13 years this is not even worth the overly cut bunk ass pills -.-

Does anyone else have issues with the Elite generic Adderall 20 mg IR? I’m prescribed it three times a day and have been on it for about three months. The first month I was given the Teva generic IR, and for the last two months it’s been Elite. At first, I felt amazing—like I was finally getting my life back. But when I was switched to Elite again, I immediately started noticing different side effects. Now I’m honestly so frustrated. I take all three doses a day and still feel like it’s not enough, but by the end of the day I have extreme back pain and my neck has been extremely tense. I’ve even had to take my prescribed Suboxone just to deal with the discomfort. On top of that, I feel paranoid, jittery, and completely drained of energy. I can’t even keep up with basic chores, which is not like me at all—I’ve always been a very clean and active person, even without medication. It honestly feels like I’m back at square one. My pharmacist said they usually only carry Elite, but after reading other people’s experiences, I’m starting to wonder what other options are out there that don’t come with these side effects. I’m pretty sure my doctor WILL go out of her way to get me the name brand medication, I just don’t want it to seem like I’m drug seeking since she mainly prescribes Suboxone. For me, the side effects have been paranoia, mood swings, anger, extreme insomnia, and extreme back pain—I’ve only gotten about five hours of sleep total in the last two days, and every night I’m just wide awake. Has anyone else gone through this or found something that works better?
