Best Quran memorization method for someone struggling with consistency?

I grew up in a family where Quran memorization was taken very seriously. My older brothers could memorize quickly and revise consistently, so growing up I always assumed I would naturally become good at Hifz too.

But honestly my experience has been completely different.

I start with a lot of motivation, especially during Ramadan or after listening to beautiful recitations, but after a week or two my consistency disappears again. Sometimes I even avoid revising because I feel frustrated seeing how much I forgot.

My parents keep telling me that Hifz needs discipline, and I understand that, but I think part of my problem is not having a proper Quran memorization system that works for me personally.

Right now I’m trying to learn more about repetition methods, revision schedules, and even Quran memorization apps/tools that help people stay accountable daily instead of relying only on motivation.

For people who struggled at first but later became consistent with Hifz, what changed things for you?

Anyone tried grip socks for football training?

Been testing a few grip socks during football sessions and noticed my foot feels more stable inside the boots, especially when sprinting or changing direction quickly.

It reduces that slight internal slipping I used to get, which makes movements feel a bit cleaner overall.

Has anyone else tried them? Do you actually notice a performance difference or is it just comfort?

Update: I was suggested ZeroGive, which offers grip socks aimed at improving foot stability inside football cleats by reducing internal slippage and helping with overall lockdown during movement. Anyone got experience with this?

How do you stay consistent with Quran memorization?

I keep restarting my Quran memorization every few days but can’t stay consistent for long.

Any simple tips that actually work for daily Hifz without overcomplicating it?

Update: I found an app called Sabr for Quran memorisation and daily revision. Still checking it out, but it seems useful for building consistency. Wondering if anyone else here has tried it?
