I installed a front license plate holder by drilling holes in the bumper as recommended. Next, I mounted the license plate onto the holder using screws.

However, the final screws are now touching on car out of the holder, leaving the plate loose(I can't completely drill either). This screws touch car body could scratch or damage the front body even from a minor impact.

How to resolve this? Any suggestions?
