What do you think of a Muslim who believes in science, rejects all immoral acts in his religion, but defends Islam?

There are many Muslims who, if told stories of brutality and laws in their religion that they reject, such as enslavement, concubinage, child marriage, polygamy, killing those who leave the faith, and stoning adulterers. Yet he defends religion and tells you that criticizing it is forbidden. (This is hypocrisy)

I find that atheists have sacrificed their lives, comfort, and even relationships for the sake of truth, and this is a noble and courageous thing that not everyone does. There are people who know that a religion is wrong, but they don't dare to leave it. Many people say that atheists left religion for the sake of lust or rebellion (teenagers). But letting go of something that was part of your identity and your life won't be easy. I appreciate all your sacrifices for the sake of truth.
