Struggling with three naps wake windows

Hi I just want to check a few questions regarding three naps that are really confusing me at the moment

6.5 month old on three naps. WW 2:25/ 2:5/2.5/3.

(He’s started stretching WW two to 2:75 so wake time over the day Is also increasing)

All naps capped
1 45 mins
2 1.5 hr mins
3 45mins

Questions:
we’ve began having some hour long night wakes around 2/3am is this caused by the schedule?
If I start reducing nap three in length to 30 mins and then 15 mins. Do I shorten the following wake window? I.e I don’t think he could handle at 3 hr ww after a 15 min nap but I’m not sure how much to shave off wake window?

I have seen lots of discussions about moving to a two nap schedule with beginning windows at 2.5/3/3.5 and quickly stretching them for 10 hour awake time. Can someone with experience please help me understand how this work in practice. If baby wakes at 7am and I follow this with an aim of 2 1.5 hour naps. This will bring bedtime to 7pm. My DWT is 7am. When they first transition do they still sleep longer overnight at the start? Or am I setting myself up for a 6am wake up by only allowing 9 hours awake time from the start of 2 nap transitions? I know he’s not ready for the 10 hour WW but I’m wondering how the 9 hour awake time affects night time sleep to reach DWT OF 7am

Please help people that were transitions from 3-2 naps

I have a 6.5 month old. He is currently on three naps. Ww. 2:15/2:30/2:30/3.

He has started to take longer to fall asleep for nap 2 and three which is extending his overall awake time to 10+ hours per day.
DWT Wake up is 7am and bedtime 8pm or after.

he is not currently ready for the ww for 2 naps. E.g 3/3/4 so I am continuing with three naps for now.

Please help with some questions below.
- when they aren’t ready for the wake windows for 2 naps do you just keep continuing with the 3 naps and later bedtime until they stretch there wake windows to enough for 2 naps?

- when I first transition to 2 naps is the ww of 3/3/4 the best to start. Do I still maintain 10 hours awake time when they first transition in order not to impact nighttime sleep or can I reduce awake time at the start to 9 or 9.5 hours to help them adjust. If I did reduce awake time how would this impact the night sleep from your experience

His current naps are capped at 45 mins, 1.5 hour and 45mins.

-would I be better reducing the overall daytime sleep from 3 hours to 2.5 hours during day to pull bedtime earlier?

DWT 7am. All advice appreciated

Thinking ahead dropping third nap.

When you are ready to start aiming towards two naps and begin reducing third nap. (Currently 30-45 mins) if I remove 5-10 mins at a time do you shorten the wake window too?

Currently after a 30-45 mins third nap. Baby does a 3 hr wake window but when I start reducing this to a micro nap e.g 15 mins. Do i reduce the final wake window by 15mins?

Thinking ahead for when my baby moves to two naps. Currently unable to stretch morning wake window so it sits around 2-2.25.
Current windows 2.10/2.5/2.5/3

When moving to two naps do I need to ensure baby still has same awake time and nap time per day for solid sleep? I.e 3 hours of naps and 10 hours awake? What is a good starter ww schedule for a baby moving to two naps?

Hi I have a 6 month old. We aim for morning wake at 7 bedtime at 8. These are the wake windows.

2 hr 10 ww
Nap 1 9:10-9:55 (45mins)

2hr 30 ww
Nap 2 12:25- 1:55. (1.5hrs)

2hr 30 we
4:25-5:10 (45mins)

Bedtime 7:40 with aim to be asleep at 8.

If baby wakes earlier one day and you don’t want the schedule to slide which wake window do you stretch?

Hi everyone looking for advice on three nap structure. I woke my 6 month old at 7 am.
He takes a 45 mins morning nap ending around 10 and a 2 hour lunch time nap ending around 2:15.
The cat nap based on his wake windows usually start around 4:40 but can take up to 5pm to get him over.

1- how are people getting baby to take the cat nap?
2- are you feeding to sleep at this time? I never usually feed to sleep
2- if he won’t go down. When would I move bedtime too? His current wake window after the cat nap is 3 hours and a bedtime around 8? I’m worried if I pulled it forward to round 6 he would wake very early?

Hi please help with my schedule. I have a 6 month old on three naps.
My desired wake time is 7am.
He usually takes a 45min capped nap ending at 10am.
Naps again 2 hours from 12:20-2:20 and then another 30min capped nap starting around 4:50-5:20.
He is now going to bed after 8pm based on the wake windows extending and still wakening for a feed which means his overall night sleep is creeping closer to 10h because I am still wakening him at 7am to keep schedule on track even tho he is capable of longer nighttime sleep.

-should I still keep wakening at desired wake time to keep day on track and prevent a later bedtime?
-when should I drop to two naps?
